Dr. Mai Huu Minh is a French/Vietnamese citizen.
Dr. Minh is a well-known expert with an impressive duo of academic skills and expertise with a background in Finance/Mathematics/Statistics and Data. Master of Mathematics/Quantitative Economics/Al and PhD in Finance from Paris Dauphine/ENSAE University (France).
With over 15 years of experience in derivative and index markets, he has developed and managed many different indices and products, including derivative instruments and ETFs.
He is the author of about 20 research publications in various French and international journals and a book entitled “Options, Futures and Export Leadership – Theory, Applications and Practice,” published by Wiley Ed.
Under his leadership, IFRC has launched a number of successful projects such as the Index Group, the Vietnam Derivatives Market Initiative and the Vietnam Economic and Financial Research Centre.
As a co-founder and head of research and development (R&D) projects, Dr. Minh is responsible for creating innovative, intelligent and highly efficient financial solutions based on big data platforms. BeQ Holdings’ core capabilities include financial consulting, investment strategy and data analysis.
With over 40 years of extensive experience in financial markets, data science and business intelligence, Dr. Minh is committed to providing reliable and advanced financial solutions for customers, investors and researchers.
With an enormous heritage, Dr. Minh has successfully calculated and managed more than 22,889 smart indices, of which more than 10,000 are calculated specifically for Vietnam.

IFRC Indexes Family (2010): Approximately 2,000 Vietnamese indexes (corresponding to 1,000 International indexes) calculated (since 2008) at the end of the day and in real time for various purposes and weights (Certificate, BlueChips, Scale, Field, Strategy, Theme, ESG and Psychology).
Women CEO Indexes Series (businesses run by female CEOs) has achieved outstanding achievements over the country’s stock exchange index.
Vietnam Derivatives Market Initiatives (2014): DMI serves as an online trading platform that simulates a real trading environment and allows participants the opportunity to learn and trade derivatives on stocks, bonds, exchange rates or commodities without risk, as well as test their trading knowledge and understanding of their markets.
Vietnam Economics & Financial Research Center (2013): VNEFRC is the predecessor of the current Cloud Computing Platform for Research (CCPR). This is an academic collaborative project that focuses on a single point of access to different sources and types of data and materials that are useful for finance research. The information is mainly from Vietnam and parts of Asia. Comparative data from other countries and regions are available.
